About the course

The Advanced Refresher Module (A2/STS) is a complete online training course for renewing your EU A2 Drone Certificate and upgrading to STS at no additional cost. In this module, you will review all mandatory A2 theory according to the latest EASA guidelines and learn all required knowledge for the STS theory certificate.

Do you already hold the EU A2 Drone Certificate and want to advance further? The Advanced Refresher Module allows you to upgrade to STS (Standard Scenarios) completely free of charge, enabling you to take the next step toward professional operations in the Specific category.

For who?

This module is intended for drone pilots who need to renew their EU A2 Drone Certificate and who want to expand their theoretical knowledge towards STS operations at no additional cost.

Course content 

During the online training, all mandatory theoretical subjects for renewing your EU A2 Drone Certificate and progressing towards STS are covered in detail. The module consists of clear lessons, practical examples and up-to-date explanations based on the latest EASA regulations.

These topics are in line with the knowledge requirements as set by EASA. 

Exam

The online training concludes with a renewal exam for A2 + STS, consisting of 32 questions. You pass the exam when you answer at least 75% of the questions correctly.

You can take the exam at any time. Not passed? No problem, resits are included in the price. Note: the online exam requires a webcam.

Certificate

After completing the online training and the exam, your A2 Drone Certificate will be renewed and you will also immediately obtain the STS theory certificate for the Specific category. The certificate is issued by the Dutch aviation authority.

The cost of the Advanced Refresher Module is £159.99 including VAT. This also includes the issue of the EASA STS certificate.
